Hosting Hannover — Operations, Monitoring & Maintenance for Your Website_

A website is not finished at launch. I keep running websites and web apps for businesses in Hannover and across the DACH region long-term — hosting on Vercel, monitoring, security updates, and a direct contact who actually knows your infrastructure.

Hosting & operations from a single source

At many agencies, responsibility ends at go-live — after that, ongoing operations mean a ticket system or a support team that does not know your project. At Benetos I continue to manage hosting and infrastructure personally: I know the code, the architecture, and the history of your project because I wrote it myself. That saves time during incidents and means changes are never made against unknown legacy issues. Based in Hannover, operating for clients across the entire DACH region.

Technical foundation: Vercel, Frankfurt (fra1)

Every Benetos project runs on Vercel with a data centre in Frankfurt (region fra1) — low latency for users in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. This includes a global edge network for static assets, automatic HTTPS/SSL, built-in DDoS protection, and zero-downtime deployments: new releases go live without noticeable interruption. Benetos clients pay no separate third-party hosting fees — infrastructure is part of the operations package.

Monitoring, security updates, and a 99.9% uptime target

Availability is not a matter of luck, it comes from observation: I use OpenTelemetry for vendor-neutral tracing, Datadog for monitoring and alerting, and Grafana for dashboards. Anomalies in error rates, load times, or availability are caught before customers notice them. On top of that come regular dependency updates and security patches, so known vulnerabilities get closed promptly. The target is 99.9% availability — backed by active monitoring, not just a promise on paper.

Database infrastructure: Neon (serverless PostgreSQL)

For projects with their own data layer — client portals, CMS integrations, SaaS backends — I use Neon, a serverless PostgreSQL platform. That means automatic scaling with load, without you needing to handle database administration yourself. Combined with Prisma as a type-safe ORM, data access in the code stays traceable and maintainable — for you, and for any developer who takes over later.

Who operations & infrastructure is for

The operations package is for businesses in Hannover and the DACH region who do not want to act as their own system administrator after launch — regardless of whether the website was originally built by Benetos or by another team. Beyond day-to-day operations, I also offer architecture consulting, code reviews, migration planning, and security patching as standalone mandates, independent of any ongoing development project.
